The Ministry of Environment Climate Change and Natural Resources incollarbration with EcoSystem Based Adaptation Project with technical support from World Agroforestry. The EbA project is a restoration project under the Ministry of Environment.

The EbA Project recently organized a congress on Transhumance Livestock Management and Ecosystem resilience. The conference targeted livestock farmers across the regions policymakers and government stakeholders involved in natural resource management.

The Ministry of Environment organized this convergence that brings together important stakeholders to share valuable experiences and genuine thoughts and together come up with ways to collectively manage transhumance practice to reduce its impact not only on natural ecosystems but importantly reducing the growing conflict and social unrest associated with the practice.
